So sánh hơn nhất (the longest / the most enjoyable etc.)

Dạng so sánh hơn nhất như longest, most enjoyable được thành lập bằng:
⊕ tính từ ngắn + est: long → longest, hot → hottest, easy → easiest, hard → hardest ...
⊕ most + tính từ dài: most famous, most boring, most difficult, most expensive ...
⊕ có một số ngoại lệ: good → best, bad → worst, far → furthest/farthest, litte → least
Trong câu thường sẽ dùng the + dạng so sánh hơn → the longest, the hottest, the most famous, the most boring ...
⇒ Yesterday was the hottest day of the year.
⇒ He's the most patient person I've ever met..
so sánh hơn + in + (places):
⇒ What's the longest river in the world?
so sánh hơn + of + (khoảng thời gian):
⇒ Yesterday was the hottest day of the year. ⇒ What was the happiest day of your life?
